Syntroleum Corp shares rose in price 66 percent, after broker Merriman Curhan Ford gave SYNM a buy rating. SYNM shares closed at 88 cents on Wednesday afternoon and continue to move higher today reaching a intraday high today of $1.26. Before the buy rating was issued, SYNM shares had lost more than 3/4 of their value in 2007. Merriman analyst Jesse Herrick, in a message to clients, said "the company has the technology to make clean synthetic fuels and also the necessary cost structures to commercialise it through its joint venture with Tyson Foods."

Under the terms of the agreement, if Global Beverage defaults on the note, the holder of the note has the option to convert the outstanding principal and any accrued interest, into shares of Global Beverage's common stock. Global Beverage must make a $500,000 payment under a related note on or before May 1, 2008 or wil be in default.

Water Skeeter Sports Innovations, Inc. is an industry leader in pontoon craft and float tubes with intentions of expanding their current line of products with the introduction of several new technologies that have been engineered for use as it relates to their products.

Water Skeeter Sports had sales in excess of $800,000 during the first three quarters of last year and the company said they expect to increase sales substantially during 2008.

In other news, Silverado Financial said they are continuing to work towards implementing their plan to place hot-coffee dispensers in test markets in Southern California with negotiations to finance the purchase of their first series of machines are ongoing.
