Lyric Jeans, Inc. (LYJN: PK) is showing an increase in trading and interest from penny stock traders this morning on news released from the company this morning announcing that it's LYRIX brand for girls will be sold at Macy's.
LYJN is launching LYRIX, the brand extension based on the songs and styles from the television show American Idol, which started it's 7th season January 15th and 16th. The apparel which was co-branded with American Idol, will be in 157 Macy's stores in February 2008 to coincide with show's Final 24 episodes. The initial collection focuses on the tween market, with plans to further expand into kidswear and accessories.
